The Economic Report of the President 2005

Each year in February, the Council of Economic Advisers submits this report on its activities during the previous calendar year in accordance with the requirements of the Congress as set forth in section 10(d) of the Employment Act of 1946.

The 2005 Economic Report of the President topics related to leading economic issues such as:

* A review of economic developments in 2004 as well as the forecast for 2005 through 2010.

* Current annual financial goals concerning topics, including employment, production, real income and Federal budget outlays.

* Employment objectives for significant groups of the labor force.

* Annual financial goals and a program for carrying out program objectives.
