Customer Reviews: McLarty Honours HST November 6, 2009Taj Pozzi (Perth, Australia)As a Hunter S Thompson fanboy, I get pretty precious about how his legacy is maintained. A warm fuzzy feeling welled up in my gutty wuts as I listened to McLarty begin to narrate the immortal opening lines of HST’s magnum opus. McLarty is a DAMN GOOD voice actor who is obviously a fan of the Duke’s. He intimately understands the flow of Fear & Loathing and this comes across naturally in his reading. This audiobook definately adds to the holistic experience of this contemporary Yankee
